Long Term Future Secure
Kentish Town in conjuction with Hampstead FC and the C C F S A, have finally secured a home which they can call their own.
After many months of hard work behind the scenes by the members of the C C F S A (Which both Kentish Town and Hampstead FC play a major role) their hard work has been finally rewarded.
We want to provide the best Youth and Adult facilities in Non - League football with the emphasis on Youth. It wont be a smooth passage but then again you get nothing for nothing and we are all ready for the challenge that lays ahead. I would like to say a very big thankyou to the Kentish Town Team of Kevin, Cathy, James who have work tirelessly on this project from day one. Also a big thank you to my Hampstead counterpart and C C F S A Chairman Diane Culligan who im lucky to share the same vision for both our clubs. Also we should mention Diane's husband Anthony, Jill and Gary for their efforts to get us to this stage. I feel very proud today to be associated with everyone involved and can see a very bright future for everyone involved.
Frank Zanre went on to say "its been a very long journey, and endless hours of work being put in by all the volunteers that have worked at the club over the last 15 years, everyone has played an important role in our success, though they did not realise it at that time, but now all those efforts have been reward, so to them i say a very big thank you, you are too many to mention but i know you will be watching the progress of the club."
Kevin Young said "its a fantastic day for the club and finally we can feel that we belong and have somewhere were we can call home, our days of being nomads are over" he went on to say "a big thank you to Camden Council for allowing us this opportunity, I feel very proud to be associated with Kentish Town and the C C F S A".
kentishtownfc.com caught up with Club Chairman Catherine Dye who said "a great day for the club and especially Frank Zanre who never doubted that his dream for the club would come true, there were many that doubted him, but he has proved them all wrong, there will be many more long and hard days ahead but when we finally lay that first brick on Chase Lodge, then the dream will be finally realised, well done to everyone involved with the CC F S A an to Camden Council in believing what we are capable of achieving".
Rak Huson, first team manager, said "its great news for the club, it will be fantastic to finally have training facilities that will enable us to develop players, and offer them the best facilities in non league football".
